WHAT IS PIKKART-AI DEFECT DETECTION?
Pikkart-AI Defect Detection is a solution that allows you to make an accurate check on the product, detecting imperfections, defects, or alterations.
Through image recognition and the vision system for quality control, it is possible to measure the degree of conformity of the product with a simple camera.
Pikkart's experience in Artificial Vision and Computer Vision systems has allowed us to design a very effective image recognition solution, capable of detecting defects, recognizing and reporting them, easily integrating with any industrial production line.
FEATURES
The solution can be performed on a dedicated computer or on a shared one and does not require particular computational power.
It interfaces with the information system to obtain the original image of the product and compares it with the known characteristics of the product, previously entered in the system. Different algorithms extract salient information and carry out the alignment between the original image and the detected one. By analyzing the quality of the alignment, information is extracted about any imperfections or non-conformities in the product.
